Dancing? It would be nice to beautifully move around on the dancefloor. Wouldn’t it? Evie Thomas did not think of that. She was too busy being angry at her father for leaving the family and forcing her, her sister and their mother to move into a smaller apartment. She stops believing in love and gives away all the romance novels she loved to read. Near a little free neighbourhood library she meets an old lady who gives her the power to see lovers’ stories when they kiss. She sees how they meet, fall in love and how their story ends. That’s the point though, love ends and someone always gets hurt. Trying to find out why this is happening takes her to dancing classes where she meets a boy called X. Will she believe in love again and has the boy got something to do with it?
The book is easy to read or listen to. The characters are interesting and likeable. It’s the newest young adult book from the author of “Everything, Everything” and “The Sun is Also a Star“. To everyone who loves a page turner and a nice catching story it’s a great read.
